Part of the L.A. mystique -- however exaggerated it may be -- truly does exist, and it's not hard to find. In fact, it's fitting that L.A. is home to the world's first amusement park, because it regularly feels like one, as the line between fantasy and reality is often obscured. From the unattainable, anachronistic glamour of Beverly Hills to the vibrant street energy of Venice, each of the city's diverse neighborhoods is like a mini-theme park, offering its own kind of unique adventure. On our student tour of LA, Kosher X combines the mystique, glamour and energy of one of the world’s most famous cities with Jewish heritage and education.

 

Day 1: Arrive Los Angeles, guided Hollywood tour (Includes Jewish Hollywood), Wilshire Blvd Temple (oldest on west coast), evening orientation.

 

Day 2: Day and evening at Disney or Universal Studios

 

Day 3: Jewish LA: Guided educational tour and programming Wiesenthal Center, Kosher Expeditions Jews of the West Coast interactive educational lecture series. Tour Beverly Hills, Santa Monica Pier, Evening Universal Studios - Universal City Walk.

 

Day 4:

• Option 1: Ocean Institute marine science lab, Cetacean Search Gray Whale Migration & Dolphin Cruise.

• Option 2: Channel Island Adventure. Explore the Channel Islands with naturalist as we cruise searching out whales, seals, dolphin and other marine wildlife then and hike the Islands. Evening beach BBQ
